BE IT ENACTED BY THE YOUTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA YOUTH LEGISLATURE –
An act to
lowering college tuition
 
SECTION I - PURPOSE
this bill is intended to lower college tuition by 15%
 
SECTION II - JUSTIFICATION
this is important because it will persuade more people to go college, and that is important because these kids who go to
college are the future of America so we want them to have good education
 
SECTION III - DEFINITIONS
have none
 
SECTION IV - FUNDING
we would raise people properties taxes by 3% and the state would give that money to colleges so it would lower college
tuition
 
SECTION V – PENALTIES/ENFORCEMENT
they state would hire financial inspectors to see if the college has lowed college by 15% and if they didn't that
college would be fined $15,000
 
SECTION VI – EFFECTIVE DATE
this bill will go into Affect August 25
