BE IT ENACTED BY THE YOUTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA YOUTH LEGISLATURE –

An act to

Cheaper Solar Panels

SECTION I - PURPOSE

Once solar panels are installed and the battery for the house/building is full, excess energy is sold back to the energy

grid for more money than it already is.

This is already happening and we want it to happen more.

This would reduce the pay off time significantly of solar panels because right now it is not a big investment and this

would make it more of one

SECTION II - JUSTIFICATION

Global warming is a huge issue (as I’m sure you all know) and this helps with a motivation for people to purchase solar

panels and help the earth.

SECTION III - DEFINITIONS

None

SECTION IV - FUNDING

Reduction of taxes towards Excel so they can afford the reduction of pay

SECTION V – PENALTIES/ENFORCEMENT

There is no enforcement it is more of a motivation
